Cycling

Cycling is more than just riding a bike

I've been cycling since 2008 and had a very brief stint in professional cycling, but I realized very quickly that it wasn't for me. In 2011 I got into gravel riding in the US where I raced Unbound Gravel, Almanzo, Filthy 50 and other gravel races.

To show what it means to strive for bold goals, in 2018 I rode to my first cycling record by becoming the first woman to ride the 3000km Vuelta a Espana on the same day as the pros. In September 2022, I set my second cycling record by cycling all 124 Swiss passes in 26 days.

In addition, I am an Ambassador for the non-profit organization, Trips for Kids, which helps underserved children learn to ride bikes.

My book "Abenteuer Gravel Transalp" can be found in German bookstores.
